Now Open · A Founding Role, Part-Time (50%)

Head of Alumni Engagement & Strategic Initiatives

There are 7,000 Ecole alumni scattered across forty countries. This is the person who finally connects them.

01
The Role

Why this job exists.

By last count, there are around 7,000 Ecole d'Humanité alumni out there in the world.

They live and work in forty countries. They run non-profits, lead drama departments, build start-ups, run farms. Artists, musicians, teachers, professionals in every field. Most of them you have never heard of. All of them are Ecole alumni.

We have outstanding alumni groups and foundations across the United States, Canada, and beyond. We hold reunions from time to time. We have a loyal, scattered, passionate community spread across the world.

What we have never had is one platform, and one person behind it, whose entire focus is them: a connector, a community builder, someone who understands the deep connection we all share and can bring Ecolianers together.

02
What You'll Do

What you'll actually do.

AGive our alumni a home.

There is no central alumni platform yet. You will build one. The place every former student, former Mitarbeiter, and former volunteer knows to come back to. One door, always open.

BBring the existing network together.

Chapters already exist. Cities hold their own meet-ups. Ecolianers run their own WhatsApp threads. Right now none of it is connected. You will connect it.

COwn the voice.

People joined this school across eight decades and dozens of countries. When you write to them, it has to sound like the Ecole they remember, not a newsletter nobody asked for. You will know the difference because you already know the school.

DLaunch the Ecole Ambassadors pilot.

This is the pilot that matters most. Close to half the families who choose this school do so because someone they trust told them about it. You will turn that into something structured. Alumni who open doors, tell the truth about this place, and send the right young people to the Hasliberg.

EBring alumni back.

To campus. To reunions. An older alumnus mentoring a younger one. A graduate helping another find an internship. You will make those connections happen.

FFind out what alumni actually want.

Discover what alumni need from this network. What they wish existed. Most of what this role will build does not exist yet. Finding it is part of the job.

GGrow advancement.

Manage the foundations we already work with. Find new ones. Help shape named scholarships, pledges, and the early stages of an Ecole endowment. Every scholarship funded is a life this place gets to change. You will find the people and institutions who want to fund those lives, and you will ask them directly.

HRaise our profile.

Most of the world has never heard of us. You will help fix that.
